Rise + Shine Eau de Parfum

Stellar fragrance…takes you to coffee shop heaven. Smells authentically edible…one of the top five scents in my collection on first sniff. Thank you…well done.

I ordered this scent on the recommendation of a Content Creator whom I greatly respect. She has led me to two of my favorite gourmand scents in the past, so I felt confident that I would love it. Unfortunately this scent missed the mark for me. The dry-down is better than the initial spray, but I am still not loving it. I WISH YOU SOLD SAMPLE-SIZES OF "RISE AND SHINE". I could have saved myself a bit of dough.

You’ve been sitting in your local French inspired bakery drinking your tea or coffee and someone walks out with a newly fresh baked batch of cinnamon swirled pastries. It’s warm, sweet and cosy. I imagine this for a rainy day or when there’s a touch of coolness in the air. I haven’t done a proper longevity testing yet however from first impressions longevity and silage are moderate with ~3-4 sprays. If you go overboard with the spritz I can see this getting coying and a bit much in public. A+ on the waftability ( don’t think that’s a real word but should be in perfumery). Not an everyday scent but a great one anytime you want to create a cozy atmosphere.

While applying Rise and Shine I instantly imagined myself eating pastries and sipping coffee at a cafe in France. This fragrance is inviting, warm and sweet! Dyad is so great at perfecting balance in their fragrance and this scent is another example of that.

The bottle also really contributes to my vision of being in Paris. It looks like a pretty bottle you would find at a Parfumerie. From the stunning label to the shape of the bottle, everything about it is just so pretty!

Rise and Shine is such a delicious scent! I can’t get enough of it.

This is a delightful fragrance that is sweet, but not to sweet. Cozy, but not too warm. It's perfect for a summer morning and will be an all day fragrance come fall. I love it.
